Hello USC High School students and parents!
I hope the first week of school has been treating you well. My name is Tracy Smith and I am the USC Robotics Coordinator. I wanted to invite you to a virtual USC Robotics Start-Up Meeting on Tuesday, August 30th at 7 PM via Google Meet. (The link is provided below as well.)
At this meeting we will discuss:
- the difference in becoming a competitive robotics club member versus a non-competitive member
- how to join a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) competition team
- expectations for FTC team members
- expectations for non-competitive members
- when the Robotics Club will meet
- what events and initiatives we will be involved in
- how parents can get involved to make the Robotics Club a success
This is a busy and exciting time of year and I am excited for all of the events that USC Robotics will be involved in this year! I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday evening. If you are not able to attend this meeting, it will be recorded and shared with you.
