Making competitive and educational robotics opportunities available to students comes at a cost.
For a FIRST LEGO League Challenge (FLL) team to register with base materials it costs about $1,000. For a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team to register with base materials, it costs over $1,500. In addition to these startup costs, teams have expenses for additional hardware, branding, marketing, outreach, travel and more.
For 2022/2023, USC Robotics has looks to accommodate up to 64 students at Boyce, 72 students at Fort Couch, and 50 students at the high school. Our need for sponsors is great!
